Join us for a full-day workshop on the essentials of Lifestyle & Nutritional Psychiatry, a collaborative event featuring world-leading researchers and clinicians from the Food & Mood Centre at Deakin University, the British Society for Lifestyle Medicine, and a panel of invited experts.
Following the success of last year’s event in London, BSLM & Deakin University’s Food & Mood Academy are teaming up again to bring this event to Edinburgh. This full day, collaborative, in-person event highlighting the critical role of lifestyle (particularly diet) in mental and brain health will be followed up by a practical online session to “Review, Reflect & Reset”, ensuring successful application of the learning.

Join us for a one-day, in-person collaborative masterclass exploring the latest evidence in Nutritional Psychiatry, including the impact of diet and the gut on brain function and mental health, and practical strategies for real-world implementation.

Distinguished Professor Felice Jacka, OAM
Professor Felice Jacka is Director of the Food & Mood Centre at Deakin University, immediate past president of the International Society for Nutritional Psychiatry Research, honorary Principal Research Fellow at the Centre for Adolescent Health, Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, the Black Dog Institute, and James Cook University. She is credited for the development of the highly innovative field of Nutritional Psychiatry, establishing diet as a risk factor and treatment target for mental disorders. Read more.
Dr Tetyana Rocks APD, PhD, BNutrDiet, BSc (Hons), GCertHigherEd
Dr Tetyana Rocks is Senior Research Fellow and Lead of the Food & Mood Academy at the Food & Mood Centre, Deakin University. Tetyana is Accredited Practicing Dietitian passionate about public health, and an honorary Research Fellow of the Rotterham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust. She is a global leader in Nutritional Psychiatry education and developed the world’s first massive open online course in Nutritional Psychiatry. Read more.
