Elizabeth Gamage

Elizabeth Gamage is a PhD student at the Food & Mood Centre

Elizabeth is a research assistant at the Food & Mood Centre and also an Associate Teaching Fellow within the School of Exercise & Nutrition Sciences at Deakin.⁠ Elizabeth completed her PhD at the Food & Mood Centre in 2025, which focused on the association between depression and polyphenols in young adults. Elizabeth is currently working on a co-design project examining the barriers and enablers to lifestyle changes for those experiencing depression.
