Jenny Murfield
Dr Jenny Murfield is a Research Fellow at the Food and Mood Centre
Jenny is a Research Fellow at the Food and Mood Centre. She works across projects at the centre, focusing on research development and translation of evidence into policy and practice. Jenny holds a BSc(Hons) in Psychology from the University of Leeds and a PhD in Complementary Therapies from Griffith University. She has a research background in ageing and dementia, with her PhD exploring the applicability of compassion-based approaches to support the psychological health of family carers of people living with dementia. Jenny has experience in co-design, social policy evaluation, and research project management.
