Md Parvez Mosharaf 

Dr Md Parvez is as Associate Research Fellow at Food & Mood Centre

Dr Md Parvez Mosharaf is a researcher in biostatistics, health economics, and bioinformatics with over seven years of experience in public health, epidemiology, precision medicine, and digital health intervention research. Currently, he is working as an Associate Research Fellow at Food & Mood Centre, Deakin University, Geelong. He holds a PhD in Health Economics and Precision Medicine from the University of Southern Queensland and an MSc in Statistics (with thesis) from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. His research integrates advanced statistical modelling, economic evaluation, multi-omics bioinformatics, and computational drug discovery to address complex health challenges, including mental health, delirium, Alzheimer’s disease, chronic diseases, cancer, and maternal and child health. Dr Parvez has contributed to large-scale randomised controlled trials and international research collaborations with institutions such as The JiVitA Research Project (under the Johns Hopkins University), the University of Queensland, International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research Bangladesh (ICDDR,B), and the University of Southern Queensland. He contributed as a Research Assistant on the ID-INSPIRED Project, focusing on digital health solutions to improve healthcare access and outcomes for Indigenous communities in rural Queensland, Australia. His research interests include public health, health economic evaluation, precision medicine, and multi-omics data analysis.
