Dr Thusharika Dissanayaka is an Associate Research Fellow at the Food & Mood Centre
Thusharika is an Associate Research Fellow at the Food and Mood Centre. She holds a BSc (Physiotherapy) and an MPhil (Physiotherapy) from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, and a PhD in Neuroscience from Monash University, Australia. She has a research background in magnetic resonance imaging, with her PhD exploring the effect of a novel brain stimulation approach on cortical activity in healthy individuals. Thusharika has experience in conducting systematic reviews, meta-analyses, tertiary education, and brain imaging.
